10 Oct 2011: Raffles International Institute Mongolia welcomed the October 2011 intake students to school on the 10th Oct 2011. New students from the various majors (Marketing, Management, Finance and Interior Design) came to school officially for the first time to embark on a new journey in their life.
The Orientation programme kicked off with Mr. Henry Tan, Director, giving a welcome speech to the new students. The new students were given an inspirational speech by Mr. Henry Tan, who has listed out the importance of studying hard, but at the same time enjoy the process of studying at Raffles.

Following the welcoming speech, Bolor. B., advanced diploma student and student council president, gave a short welcoming speech to the new students. Bolor shared with the students how is it like to study in Raffles and what are the things expected from students. Bolor also shared on the student activities in school.

October 2011 Scholarship Award Presentation was the next agenda. For this intake, many high caliber students applied for the scholarship award. It was a tough choice for the interview panel.  Mr. Henry Tan presented the awards to the respective winners:
1st Prize: Ms. Ganjargal Ganbold (Finance Major)

2nd Prize: Ms. Zolzaya Ulziisaikhan (Finance Major)

3rd Prize: Mr. Tsogt Khatanbaatar (Interior Design Major)

After the award, the new students were brought around the school for a tour. Everyone were excited and asked about their class schedule.
