On the 29th of October, Friday Gen Lehn took her fashion design students to a field trip to the VTG Vietnam International Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition which was hold in HCMC from the 27th - 30th Oct 2010.
Several Asian countries were exhibiting their products - Malaysia, Taiwan, China, Vietnam.
The students got major information on products, services and while they were "interviewing" the manufacturers, they have got job offers from a Hong Kong company.

RCU NEWS: Raffles Changchun and Sweden’s Nordic Ways signed industry alliance partnership agreement. Early in the morning of On 26th June 2010, more than 10,000 participants from all over the world come together in Asia’s largest manmade Forest - Jing Yue Tan’s Park in Changchun, Jilin province of China to participate in Lidingoloppet. Lidingoloppet is an annual Swedish cross country running race that takes place in Lidingo island situated 10km from the city center in Stockholm.

Raffles HCM proud to show the success story about the student - Nguyen Quoc Anh Vuong – a young Fashion designer. He joined to Raffles for studying Fashion Design, at the second year he got a prize in Aquafina Pure Fashion Competition 2008. Then, he got a part time job at Ha Gatini and Sea House which are the famous fashion company in Vietnam.
